NatSynDrugs joined the EU FP6 funded project SpidERA for Life: Speeding collaborations in the Life Science and Health domain of the European Research Area and beyond

SpidERA for life, is a 24 months SSA, granted under European FP6 (FP6-037207 - SSA). SpidERA for LIFE aims at ‘bringing together’ SMEs and Academia from the life science and health sectors in an innovative, cost effective and highly efficient way. SpidERA for LIFE will utilise the new concept of web-based online networking coupled with social network analysis capability, to facilitate and promote the collaboration between SMEs and Academia with the ultimate objective of improving the health of European citizens and increasing the competitiveness of European health-related industries and businesses, while addressing global health issues including emerging epidemics. All SpidERA for LIFE consortium members have track records in the pan-European level arena. Therefore they have the power, credibility and reach to achieve the project’s goals. In addition, SpidERA for LIFE will form an Advisory Board that will provide feedback on the project and its results and advise on improvements that can be implemented. SpidERA for LIFE will monitor various key performance indicators to ensure that it operates a live and active network, for the benefit of its users.
